I'm finally done with my blog update. It's Sunday before my Phase 1 of Dev BootCamp starts, and my last challenge was to redo my blog and implement things I have learned over last 9 weeks of my remote study. I so could have picked a better time for that, but I just had to wait till the last moment. I have been working on it for the whole day, literally. Started at 9am and finished 9pm.
Tonight I'm writing about is this experience. This redoing my blog. I sent it to two different people I trust, and I got great feedback from them. I specifically asked for negative feedback, because without it you just can't do much. What they said was I need to clean it up a bit, and give the visitor some guidance. I tried my best to implement this changes.
I looked for help at Bootstrap and found some awesome things to implement. I found that all the JavaScript I have been studying these last few days, helped me a lot. Not that it would be necessary for implementing these features from Bootstrap, but just the sole understanding of code. This is where it helps.
What else to add?
It was a great experience so far, and I'm looking forward to the real drill that's starting tomorrow. I just hope I'll not burn out.
This is probably the last blog I'll post. I don't think I'll have the time to continue doing it while I'll be studying on-site. Today we've received our schedule and it is quite something. It looks like we'll have our hands full, and not much time to do anything else.
